Martyr Aurangzeb's village sans basic facilities

Poonch, July 5 Rifle man martyr Aurangzeb who was kidnapped and killed by the militants in Kashmir last month and belonging to a backward village of Mendhar which still lacks basic amenities sources said here today.
Salami a remote and backward village in all respects in Mendhar sub division has a dilapidated link road from main raod which needs to be repaired and back topped immediately and named after the name of martyr Aurangzeb.
There is our old high school in the village which has not been upgraded since its inception while many a schools were upgraded under new education policy in the state.
While taking to Early Times locals of the village demanded that link road connecting the village with main road be named after martyr Aurangzeb and the increased health facilities, up gradation of high school to higher secondary school and construction of a memorial of the martyr in the town will be a real tribute to the martyr who sacrificed his precious life for the nation they added.
Salami Village being close to border area falling in Krishannaghati sector needs to be developed on modern lines and locals pin high hopes in local army unit also to organize motivations lectures, awareness camps besides sports activities in the area. Though the army has been there always to help them but locals hope the army will take some initiatives for youth also who are future of our county they added.
