| GDC Bishnah organizes Swacchta Rally | | |  Bishnah, July 19: On the 13th day of Swachh Bharat Summer Internship, the interns of Govt Degree College Bishnah organized the Swachhata Rally at villages Chorli and Kothey of Chorli Panchayat for disseminating the message of keeping the homes and surroundings clean so as to ward off the diseases from the society.
The interns under the guidance of Nodal Officer Prof Amit Kumar Sharma and Prof Priyanka Mahajan, started the rally from Chorli Village and went through the streets shouting the slogans 'Safai se Nata Jodo, Bimarion se nata todo' 'Har yuva ka yahi nara, swachh rahe bharat hamara' 'Gar Gar Shochalaya Banana Hai, Gandagi ko Door Bhagana hai''.
The rally culminated at the village Kothey of the panchayat. The teams of interns at Ratnal started the Swacchata Campaign in schools. They went to Govt Middle School Ratnal and Dati Todi Memorial Convent Higher Secondary School Ratnal and disseminated among the students the message of cleanliness, Saving clean water, construction of toilets at home and segregation of household waste into dry and wet waste.
The interns used interactive method of interaction with students where they asked them as to how they keep their home and surroundings clean and then added to their knowledge of the same. The students promised that they would definitely internalize the message and adopt the clean way of life. |
