Institute organizes 'Display Your Talent'

JAMMU, July 31: Kotwal National Institute of Teaching organised 'Display Your Talent' program for the fresher of 9th and 11th class to display their talent in various curriculum activities like solo singing, solo dance, poem recitation, group dance, instrument playing, skits and others. About 50 students took part in these activities. A panel of six judges including Prof A K Raina, S Gurdeep Singh, Seema Rani, Sukhvarsha Mehta judged the participants. Gurpreet Kour of 11th got first position in singing, Anjali and Taranpreet won the second prize and Skit by Palak Mahajan, Anisha, Saranjay & group was adjudged third. In painting competition Pranav Rajesh, Anil Kumar and Neha Chouhan got The Ist, second and third prize respectively. In clay modelling Aman Sharma was adjudged the best. At the end of the function the participants and the students were addressed by the Director of the school Prof J L Kotwal and the Principal Bimla Billoria.
The winners were given certificate of achievement and participation. The Director Prof Kotwal impressed upon the teachers concerned to hold such events regularly so as the hidden talent of the students is exposed. He also called upon the students to participate at least in one such activity. The function was conducted by AK Koul, Anju Jain and Leena.
