Early Times Report KATHUA, Aug 6: Brahma Kumaris Centre (BKC), Kathua conducted plantation drive under the guidance of BK Veena Didi, Head of Kathua District Centres. Dr Bharat Bhushan, Director, Social Welfare, Som Nath, Chief Horticulture Officer (Retd.), Suresh Kumar (Director, Awake India Educational Trust), Palvi, general secretary (Awake India Educational Trust), BK Sister Mannu, BK Sita Kant, Barwal Panchayat Naib Sarpanch Karan Singh and residents of Barwal planted saplings in the park of Housing Colony, Kathua, in the premises of Shiv temple, Barwal and in Nagri-Parole, near Kathua. About three hundred plants were planted and distributed. BK Veena Didi thanked all the participants who were part of plantation drive. She added that trees play an important role in the conservation of environment besides making our mother earth green and clean. Dr Bharat Bhushan appreciated the efforts of Brahma Kumaris and hoped that the organization will continue with its noble endeavours. |
