EJAC discusses salary issues of HT & RReT's

Jammu, Aug 6: An emergency meeting of EJAC was held under the presidium of S. Amrik Singh, Ganesh Khajuria, Jagdish Sharma and N S Jamwal at Jammu. The agenda of the crucial meeting was to discuss the salary issues of Head Teachers & RReT's working under SSA, Masters working under RMSA and other related issues of teaching community such as implementation of 7th Pay Commission in favour of all the RReT's, Head Teachers and Masters working under SSA & RMSA Schemes and delink the salaries from the source of Central Government Budget (MHRD) to the State Govt. Budget (Plan/Non-Plan Scheme) and to remove the long pending pay anomaly from the pre revised Grade of 6500-10500 to 7450-11500 (5th Pay Commission).
A threadbare discussion was held during the course of meeting and it was decided unanimously that the protest programme will be held on 9th August 2018 under the banner of EJAC in front of the office of Divisional Commissioner Jammu at 11:30 a.m. to raise their voice against the callous and irresponsible attitude of the successive Governments and the present regime of the State.
The leaders of various constituents of EJAC i.e., Ganesh Khajuria, State General Secretary of JKTF, S. Amrik Singh, Chief Spokesperson, Agriculture Employees Association, Jagdish Sharma Sr. Leader Public Sector Employees Association and N. S. Jamwal of J&K 10+2 lecturers Forum Lambasted on the arrogant and apathetic attitude of the authorities for not paying any heed towards the grievances of the Employees Community and resolve the issues with sincerity.
