Jammu, Aug 6: To take stock of people's grievances, Ch. Mohan Singh, Sr. Congress Leader, Suchetgarh visited of Suchetgarh constituency and held a meeting with the residents.
The agenda of the meeting was to discuss the dilapidated condition of R. S. Pura-Suchetgarh Road. The issue was discussed in detail.
While addressing the gathering, Ch. Mohan Singh said that the village Suchetgarh is the Heart of Suchetgarh Constituency.
Many tourists from different states of India also visit Suchetgarh Border frequently but when they travel on R. S. Pura-Suchetgarh Road, they feel disillusioned by the hollow slogans of Development by the Govt.
Moreover at the time of Cross Border Shelling, it is the only road that leads to safer places at Sub Division R. S. Pura. But the dilapidated condition of this road has added to the miseries of the locals residing in the border villages situated along the R. S. Pura-Suchetgarh Road.
He informed the locals that the Congress Party is going to hold a Strong Protest on 07-08-2018 (Tuesday) at 10 am for demand of the construction of this road.
He urged people to participate in the protest to get their demand fulfilled at the earliest.
Others who were present on the occasion were: Ex Sarpanch Swarn Lal, Nambardar Beli Ram, Girdhari Lal, Bachan Lal and Mohan Lal. |
