| Shiksha Niketan conducts Fireless cooking competition | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 6: Shiksha Niketan Jeevan Nagar conducted Fire Less Cooking Competition for Class 5th was organized in the school premises.
The Competition was conducted with a view to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without fire. It encourages kids to be more adventures eaters. Four students from each section of class 5th participated in the competition.
The food items displayed were a visual treat for the participants and o the taste buds of the students. Cleanliness, taste and presentation wear the basic criteria for the judgement.
The Competition was organized and conducted under the guidance of experienced and skill full teachers which reflected during the course of the Competition.
The participants' creativity was revealed through the presentation of mouth watering foods. Several questions regarding their cooking were also put to the students.
The first prize was bagged by Gagandeep Kour, Manpreet Kour, Gagneek Kour and Varnika of Class 5th E second and third position was bagged by Jaideep, Ishmeet Kour, Sanjog pal and Yuvraj of 5th D and Divyanshi, Arshdeep, Palakpreet and Ekta of 5th B.
The main Incharge Nirmal Sharma conveyed her appreciation for the winner.
The principal of the school Rameshwar Mengi congratulated the winner. |
