| SS protests against Article 35A | | |  Early Times Report
RS Pura, Aug 12: Shiv Sena, (Bala Ji Sahib Thackery) RS Pura unit today organised a protest against Article 35A at Miran Sahib.
Hundreds of Shiv Sainiks took part in the protest which was led by Sanjeev Sharma Dist President. On the occasion Sena leaders said that Article 35A was not added to the Constitution by following the procedure prescribed for amendment of the Constitution of India under Article 368.
Article 370 does not anywhere confer on the President legislative or executive powers so vast that he can amend the Constitution or perform the function of Parliament.
It has been brought about cleanly that organ when actually the right of amendment of the Constitution lies with the Parliament. Those who took part in this protest were Labha ram, Sanjeev Kumar, Baba Ram. |
