Early Times Report

Reasi, Aug 12: The parents of an abducted girl of Vijaypur, Reasi today blocked Reasi-Shiv Khori road to register protest against what they called inaction of the police.
Dozens of relatives and neighbours of family of missing girl today assembled at Zero Morh, Reasi and criticized police and district administration for failure to trace out the girl.
Traffic on Reasi-Shiv Khori road remained suspended for two hours, as the agitating family members of relatives of the girl blocked road, seeking governor's intervention to get the missing girl recovered.
However, the Dy SP, Headquarter, rushed on spot and pacified the agitators. The DySP said that two youth have been arrested. "Soon the girl will be recovered", he assured.
However, the DySP's assurance did not satisfy the agitated relatives. "If two persons have been arrested, why has the police failed to recover the girl.
It is being alleged that one of accused boy is son of BJP leader from Reasi, and Police is trying to hushup the matter. "We will fight for justice, even will march toward Srinagar to meet Governor, if the girl is not recovered within three days, we are very disappointed over tortoise progress of police in the case", they said.
