Clean sweep BJP in upcoming municipal elections: Manohar lal
8/12/2018 10:10:43 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 12: Senior congress leader and former minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today conducted meeting in Billawar regarding upcoming municipal elections.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Sharma said that people of the billawar municipal committee should come together and vote against BJP in the upcoming municipal election to teach them lesson for their complete failure in keeping up with promises and for deteorating the pace of development in Billawar.
Dr Sharma said that during these four years of BJP rule, billawar constituency suffered in every field even though the elected MLA was holding the powerful post of deputy cm of the state. People of Billawar had no direct approach to the former deputy CM as he had made a pseudo cabinet to look into matters in billawar town that comprises of his workers. Inhabitants were subjected to appear before specific workers to register their agony related with specific department. The pace of work and development in billawar suffered a grave jolt owing to this failed system of governance.
There is not only increase in unemployment, and poverty but the people of Billawar had felt mentally demoralised owing to such trend introduced by BJP.
Dr Sharma said that now BJP is launching these same pseudo ministers in the municipal elections of Billawar from different wards and this is time for the people of Billawar to pay back them for their misdeeds by voting against BJP in the upcoming municipal election. Dr Sharma said that billawar is a historical place and holds high standards in the politics of the region. It must be insured that BJP shall learn for their misdeeds and should face a clean sweep in the upcoming municipal election.
Dr Sharma said that as a team we shall work for the development of Billawar and ensure that only competent leaders shall win from each and every ward. He said that this is a short meeting and soon a large meeting will be held in billawar and in every ward of Billawar municipality.
