| Govt School wrongly hoists tricolor on I-Day | | |  Ashwani Sharma

udhampur, Aug 17: The negligence of teachers of Government Primary School Kad Birnu especially its Head Master can be very much judged from their wrongful display of national flag on Independence Day.
This school falling in Zone Gordi celebrated the 72nd Independence Day and the National Flag was hoisted by Headmaster of the school upside down-saffron colour down and green at top which is exactly the reverse of laid down norms.
The incident was widely criticized and the pictures of this went viral on social media inviting condemnations.
Taking cognizance of this the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Gordi asked the concerned Headmaster to clear his position over the incident otherwise his salary will be withheld.
Shivam-father of a boy studying in the school said what education such teachers will impart to their students if they have no sense of hoisting the National Flag of their country.
Similar were the views of other parents whose children study in the Government Primary School Kad Birno.
A housewife Shashi told this reporter that if the teachers and Principal have no idea of hoisting the National Flag they should have consulted someone to avoid shame. |
