Early Times Report
Srinagar, Aug 17: There is massive outrage among the staff members of one of the top educational institutions in Kishtwar after a senior teacher shared a porno clip in the WhatsApp group of the institution.
As per details available with Early Times, the shameful incident took place on Thursday evening at around 6 pm when the accused Master shared clip of a naked woman taking bath. It caused hue and cry among the group members, forcing the officials to close the group after massive outrage and condemnation by both male and female staff members who are the part of the group.
Official sources while confirming the incident said that the act of the said master is shameful and has given a bad name to the Education Department as well as to the society.
Sources said that since the incident took place after the closure of the institute followed by a holiday on Friday, action will be taken in the case. Sources said that the porno clip was actually uploaded and not forwarded which itself suggested that the act is a deliberate one.
Even though the WhatsApp group has been closed down, a departmental inquiry as well as suspension of the said Master is under active consideration for which a formal order could be issuedon Saturday.
Sources that there are various complaints against the Master in question in the past as well for which many a time objections were raised by the staff members with the senior officials.
An employee of the department who is part of the group told the Early Times that such acts need to be dealt with iron hands and the guilty should not be left off merely with warning.
He said they will hold a meeting on Saturday with the senior officials of the department with regard to the issue so that necessary action could be initiated against the erring Master.
He said that the matter has also been brought into the notice of the higher authorities so that they can act in accordance to the law with regard to the action against the erring Master.
