| KNIT celebrates birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri | | |  Early Times Jammu
Jammu, Oct 3: Kotwal National Institute of Teaching, Bharat Nagar organised colourful cultural programmes to celebrate the birth anniversaries of Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi & former Prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. Lightening of the ceremonial lamp by Director prof Kotwal, Principal Bimla Billoria & other dignitaries marked the beginning of the Function. Many Students and teachers presented life history of the two leaders through their speeches. Earlier a cleanlin we drive was carried out in & around the school promisesThe Director of the school Prof J L Kotwal announced a cash prize for the winning team. Speaking on the occasion Director Prof Kotwal while throwing the light on the lives of great heroes of India, stressed the need of following the teachings & the great values set by these great leaders. He also impressed upon the students to make cleanliness a habit. |
