DPS Udhampur organizes Peace Rally

UDHAMPUR, Oct 3: DPS, Udhampur organized a "Peace Rally" today to celebrate 150th Birthday Anniversary of Mahatama Gandhi. The rally started from DC office Udhampur and was flagged by honourable DC Udhampur Ravinder Kumar in the presence of Pro- Vice chairman DPS Udhampur Dr JC Gupta and Principal Dr. Kunal Anand
The main aim of this "Peace Rally" was to spread love, Brotherhood, Peace and to create awareness in the society to keep area and surroundings clean to join hands together for a clean and green environment. Around 300 students from school joined the rally where Nukkad Nataks, Slogan, Peace March was done by the students. The Rally culminated at Town Hall and was revived by SSP, Udhampur Jenab Mohammad Rayees Bhat.
The Pro Vice chairman of the school Dr. J.C Gupta stated that it's not in our behaviour to keep our surrounding clean and sanitized. At the most we keep our own house clean and it is of no concern of ours to be careful about streets, parks or other public places . Hence the initiative of DPS Udhampur students and teachers is appreciable that via this Peace Rally they have taken an initiative to sanitize the General Public. The Principal of the school Dr. Kunal Anand thanked the authorities, DC Udhampur Ravinder Kumar (IAS), SSP Udhampur Jenab Mohammad Rayees Bhat(IPS) , and Pro-Vice chairman DPS Udhampur for sparing their valuable time. He stated that DPS, Udhampur has always taken initiative for the betterment of society and in future also it will keep on doing the same The Students were given a light refreshment.
