Special Assembly organised to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti, World Peace day | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 3: To commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and the International Non-Violence Day as declared by the United Nation, the students of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu conducted a special assembly to relive Gandhi's life and contribution to India's Independence and also to think about the vision of 'Swacch Bharat'. The assembly began with paying special tribute to our 'Father of Nation' and an eloquent thought that emphasized the importance of the concept of Non-violence. Followed by this, students of Primary wing sang a beautiful patriotic song based on Truth and Non-Violence message of Bapu which filled the ambience with the feeling of patriotism for our great nation i.e.; INDIA. Vanshika Thakur spoke on Gandhi ji's struggle for independence and she also spoke on the growing awareness of the people, especially in the children about Cleanliness drive launched by the Indian Government famously known as 'Swacch Bharat Abhiyan'. The House incharge of the WISDOM HOUSE, Sarika Sharma enlighten students about the relevance of Gandhi Jayanti along with International Peace day. Principal cum Vice-Chairperson, Rohini Aima encouraged the children to be active members in the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. She smphasised the famous message quoted by Mahatma Gandhi. "Be the change you wish to see in the World". |
