Two killed in road mishaps, another found dead mysteriously

JAMMU, Oct 9: A college girl lost her life when the scooty she was riding on collided with an army vehicle at Satwari area.
The collision was so potent that the girl died on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Jaswinder Kour (16) daughter of Surjeet Singh of Indira Nagar.
Police said that incident took place when the deceased was riding on a scooty while on reaching at Satwari Airport Road, the scooty was hit by an army vehicle.
After getting the information, Satwari police immediately reached on the spot and shifted the girl to Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar where she was declared as brought dead.
Later, the body was shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for autopsy and other legal formalities.
After legal formalities, the body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Police said that a case in this connection has been registered and further investigation is on.
Meanwhile, a youth namely Akshay Pandita (21) son of Vir Krishan Pandita of Lower Roop Nagar Muthi was killed when the motorcycle he was riding on collided with a truck at Bantalab area falling under the jurisdiction of Chinore police post.
The body was shifted to the GMC&H where he was declared as brought dead and later after legal formalities the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
In Bari Brahmana area, a 40 year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances.
The deceased has been identified as Rajesh son of Chancal Kumar of Channi Himmat.
Police said that he was found unconscious under mysterious circumstances at Bari Brahmana by some passersby and after getting the information police reached on the spot and found him lying unconscious.
He was shifted to hospital where he was declared as brought dead and later the body was shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for legal formalities while concerned Police have taken cognizance of the matter.
