2 day Bench-Press championship held

Jammu, Oct 9: Two day J&K State Bench Press championship for Sub-Junior, Junior, Senior and Master Men and women concluded at Amarnath Yatri Niwas Bhagwati Nagar.
The championship was organized by All J&K State Power Lifting Affiliated to Power Lifting India and was held under the observation of J&K Sports Council observer namely Inder Pal singh (Weight Lifting coach) and Dalvir Mehta.
On the occasion Aditi Sharma was the Chief Guest and common wealth silver medalist Veena Devi was present and distributed prize and medal among the winner and the runner up player.
In this championship Anshuman Sharma and Sawan Kumar emerged best lifter in Men category by lifting 200 kg and 130 Kg respectively while Shakshi Koul emerged best lifter in Women category by lifting 60 Kg.
In this Championship around 250 players from various District of J&K including Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Reasi, Srinagar and Budgam participated, The championship was organized in well manner under the officials of the association namely Ajay Sharma Gen, Secretary, Rahul Sawhney Sr, Vice President , Gulzar Singh and Vikram Singh vice President, Ravinder Sharma Treasurer, Sanjecv Singh and Adil Ashraf Khan Joint Secretary and Ajit Pal Singh Deepak Jyoti , Vinay Sharma, Suresh Pal, Hardeep singh, Sumit Gupta, Kamail Singh, Gourav Gupta and Shabeel Ahmad as the core team member.
In women's Category Gold Medal:- Riya Sharma, Radha Kumari, Aditi Khurana, Richika Khajuria, Shakshi Koul, Apoorvi Sharnia, Sonakshi Tangri, Monika Sharnia, Akashi Raina, Necte lobar, Simran Bumrah, Juhi Gupta, Upsana Mahajan, Surbhi Bali, Khushi Wadchra and Divya Manhas.
Silver Medal winners were Sunita Devi, Kashike Singh, Surbhi Bali, Rubi Shaima, Gurject Kour and Ruhi Saini.
Bronze Medal winners were Gurpreet Kour and Parul Sharma.
In Men's Category Gold Medal : Arjun Kumar, Nagesh Kumar, Ritesh Sharma, Varun Gupta, Sawan Kumar, Harshdeep Singh, Sahil Aanad , Sandeep Singh, Haroon Choudhary, Abhishek Chawala, Pankaj Chib, Suresh Kumar, Goutam Kumar, Vishal Singh, Sajad Hussain, Rahul Singh, Arjun Saini, Amandeep Bassan, Parveen Kumar, Bimal Indu Sharnia, Gourav Sharma, Hashir Shah, Rubam Sharma, Jasmeet Singh, Faisal Pal, Raman Kumar, Jagbir singh, Vikramjeet Singh, Harsul Sharma, Anush Kumar, Aditya Sharma, Akshay Mahajan, Ankush Suudan, Tanin Kumar Rama, Vikrant Singh, Jogmder Kumar, Anshuman Sharma, Amandcv Singh, Ashish Singh and Vikram Deep.
Silver Medal winners were Sourav Kumar, Harshul Sharma, Pranav gupta, Aditya Sharma, Bodh Raj, Pardeep Ahirhar, Sumit Sharma, Tarun De\ Singh, Kunal Kumar, udhayveer Singh, Rajat Kumar, Vinay Mishra, Amandeep Singh, Ankit Singh Jamwal, Navdeep Salotra, Gurject Singh, Abhiam Sharma, Wakar Pal, Viajy Choudhary, Jatinder Pal Singh, Mutecv Elahi, Sahil Anand, Burahan ansari, Shiv Charan Singh, Ubaid Rehman, Mohd,Aslam, Mirdul ghai and Roshan Sharma.
Bronze Medal : Chetan Dorga, Anush Kumar, Nikhal Saroch, Rishav Sharaf, Arun Abrol, Surjeet Singh jamwal, Sunil Kumar Sharma, Lakshay Wadhwan, Vinay Singh, Sunil Chib, Rakesh Mahajan Ajay Jogi, Ashish Singh Sarmal, Bunty Kumar, Nazir Ahmed, Aniket Bhagat and Rajar Kumar.
