CB books job consultancy for cheating visa applicants

SRINAGAR, Oct 9: Crime Branch lodged a First Information Report against a Job Consultancy, Blue Star Immigration Pvt. Ltd Punjab for duping the M/S Al-Jumeirah Consultancy and candidates on the pretext of providing jobs outside the country.
Crime Branch Kashmir received a complaint from Shahid Iqbal Matoo and Suhail Mushtaq Mislee partners of M/S Al-Jumeirah Consultancy alleging therein that Gurpreet Singh and his wife Sandeep Kour (Director of Blue Star Immigration Pvt. Ltd.) Punjab cheated and duped the complainants of an amount of Rs 25 lacs on the pretext of providing visas and Jobs to candidates outside the country. They provided visas which were fake and forged, thereby cheating them.
Subsequently, a preliminary enquiry was initiated by Crime Branch. During the course of enquiry, it came to fore that Shahid Iqbal and Suhail Mushtaq are running a consultancy under the name and style of M/S Al-Jumeirah Consultancy approached Sandeep Kour Director M/S Blue Star Immigration Pvt. Ltd. Mohali (PB) for providing job & visas to 12 candidates and paid an amount of Rs 21, 20,000 to the suspects. The money was transferred through different ICICI Bank A/C Nos. provided by the suspects. Then after they provided Visa to 12 candidates but on confirmation the visas turned out to be tourist visas and not job Visas. Only 04 candidates went to Georgia who remained there for 27 days and were forced to bear all the expenses of boarding and lodging but no jobs was provided to them and as such they returned to India after 27 days. It also came to fore that other 04 candidates namely Omer Qadir, AadilNissar, Saqib Shakeel and AzharHameed were sent to Singapore but they were detained at Singapore Airport twice and were deported back to India on account of insufficient travel, other required documents and fake bookings of hotels. These candidates were made to pay 40,000/= each as fine at IGI Airport New Delhi.
In this manner M/S Blue Star Immigrations Pvt. Ltd. at Mohali (PB) cheated M/S Al-Jumeirah Consultancy and duped them of huge money on the pretext of providing jobs outside the country.
