 UDHAMPUR, Oct 9: As many as 192 candidates are in fray in district Udhampur District for the Urban Local Bodies (ULB) elections to be held tomorrow in second Phase. There are one Municipal Council and two Municipal Committees in the district. Municipal Council Udhampur has 21 wards while Municipal Committees of Ramnagar and Chenani have 13 and 7 wards respectively 125 candidates are contesting elections for the in Municipal Council Udhampur while 47 candidates are in  fray for the Ramnaga Municipal Committee polls and 20 candidates are contesting for Chenani Municipal  Committee elections. Polling parties with poll materials and EVMs under heavy security were dispatched from PG Degree College here today for 68 Polling Stations set up for three ULBs. The Deputy Commissioner/District Election Officer Ravinder Kumar, AROs, ROs and other senior civil as well as police officers were present on the occasion. District Election Officer Udhampur while talking to media said that our preparation for election is fool proof. He said that out of total  68  polling stations established  in District Udhampur,  48 are in Udhampur, 13 in Ramnagar while 7 are in Chenani  adding that  61  polling stations have been declared as sensitive polling stations.
