Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 9: Ex- Central 'Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association criticized the statement given by BJP Spokesman Dr. Sambit Patra in a debate broadcasting on a TV channel that the one Rank one Pension is to be paid /sanctioned to Defence Forces whereas he told in the said debate that Saheed Narinder Singh and Gurnam Singh who laid their lives for the indignity of the country falls in the category of civilians it means that the BJP are showing them as civilian whereas they are working for 24 hours that too on Zero Line as well in most difficult area throughout the India
Ex- Central 'Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association consisting of BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, CISF and Assam Rifles held press conference under the under General Secretary DK Chauhan of the Association.
Addressing media persons, SK Sharma President of the Association said that the BJP is not at all interested to provide the compensation to the legal heirs and only announcement are given that every possible help will be provided to the legal heirs of these Jawans who - laid- their life for the safeguard of the Country this is also in the TV Channels but actually in the papers nothing has been paid till date to these Jawans by the Union Government or State Government and even State Government has made announcement when Gurnam Singh was killed by the sniper by the Pakistan Army on the LOC the then Dy. Chief Minister Shri Nirmal Singh has given assurance that one members of the family will be given job under SRO 43 but that too was eye wash but despite lapse of now more than 2 years nothing has been done and legal heirs of the family are wondering from pillar to post for seeking justice but nobody is ready to listen to their vows.
It appealed to the Ministry of Home Affairs that the BSF, CRPF/ITBP and SSB may be granted the same facilities which are providing to the Indian Army but in these case no such facilities and even the said Forces are entitled for the Canteen facilities' whereas they are working 24 hours in odd and hard terrain. Those who were present on the occasion Daleep Singh Vice President, Mohinder Singh State Secretary , Janak Raj Cashier Kulbir Singh F/O Shaeed Gunname Singh, Kulwinder Singh and Gurjeet Kour brother and sister.
