Delegation of JKATA meets Advisor to Governor BB Vyas
10/9/2018 11:43:55 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 9: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) led by its President, Dr. Surinder Radotra met Advisor to Governor BB Vyas and apprised him by their long ongoing pending demands and issues.
Mainly, the concerns arise from the following were conduct of DPC ( as per SRO -442 ) in true letter and spirit, and Inclusion of 7,8 & 9 years of service rendered by AEA's since April, 2007 and In Situ promotions ( Ist, 2nd & 3rd Batch) with implementation of Old Pension Scheme.
Advisor BB Vyas, said the above mentioned demands, surely the foremost right of the highly technically qualified Agriculture Extension Assistants and unreservedly nobody can deny to do this for the smooth functioning of the department. After imperturbably hearing and shown keen interest and credence over the genuine demands / issues, on spot, he directed the concerned authorities to look after their (AEA's ) grievances on priority mainly conduct of DPC , Where 25% quota as per SRO- 442 has already been implemented, then why 75% quota of highly qualified Technocrats is still yet to be implemented in his reply.
Meanwhile, BB Vyas said, inclusion of 7, 8 & 9 years of service of Rehber- e -Zirat stipendiary service as period of regular service be provided to all the AEA's (Agriculture Extension Assistants ) on the analogy of Rehber- e-Taleem teachers, who have already availed the benefits in the Government Service ( J&K). It is hard fact that maximum number of AEA's are already on the wrong side of the age factor maximum have crossed more than 45 years of age and length of their services is very less in order to secure their future / basic rights , not merely the old pensioner benefits . Therefore, the inclusion of 7, 8 & 9 years of service of AEA's w e.f Ist April, 2007 is very much needed and strongly recommended to the concerned Administrative authorities for the same and AEA's would retire from the Government services without attaining the qualifying service of 20 yrs under old pension scheme for entitlement to old pensionery benefits.
He gave directions to the Administrative authorities to immediately take an action in favour of the genuine demands of Agriculture Extension Assistants and submitted report in this concern at an earliest.
On occasion were present Karan Dev Singh, sindu Jyoti , Mohd Anwar, sarbjeet Singh , Dinesh Kumar, Manpreet Singh, Vinod Sharma, Amit gandotra and others.
