Cultural event on Devotional Theme organised

Jammu, Oct 13: In continuation of celebration of Navratra festival 2018 , today the cultural event on Devotional Theme was organised in the premises of Govt Higher Secondary School Katra in which thirteen school from adjoining schools upto Middle Standard showed their talent in colourful programme. On this Occasion, Ashok Kumar, SDM Katra was the Chief Guest and Sunil Sharma, Tehsildar Katra & Dr Gopal Dutt BMO Katra was the Guest of Honour who started the function by lightening the Jyot in presence of various mantras.
Rajesh Verma Principal Govt Hr secondary School Katra welcomed the dignitaries and informed them about the various activities organised by the school as a part of Navratra festival 2018.
The mantra ucharan was done by Dr Varchaskam Lect in Sanskrit and lightening of Jyot
In the event, Saraswati Mother Nursery School stood at first Place , Govt MS Hansali got second position whereas third place gone to Kidzee Reasi
Of Sacred Era Experimental School got the special prize such an exemplary performace. Usha Dogra, Arti Sharma & Sunita Devi comparing the whole programme and managed the stage.
The Experts Judges of the programme were Durga Prakash, Ram Lal & Sunil Sharma of Regional Outreach Bureau, Govt of India & the result were compiled by Bandana Dogra & Poonam Kaila
Earlier, the dignitaries were honoured by presenting Pitambars by R S Jamwal, Arun Jamwal, Sham Lal, Vikrant Singh, Kuldeep Sharma, Digvijay Singh, Mahesh Sharma.
Kamal Singh Vice Principal presented the vote of thanks.
