VOJ produces challan against XEn for amassing disproportinate assets

Jammu, Oct 13: The Jammu branch of Vigilance Organization produced Challan against Executive Engineer Parveen Pandoh of 27 Bhalla Enclave near Police Complex Channi Himmat, Jammu for possessing huge assets, disproportionate to his known source of income.
Spokesman of Vigilance Organization Jammu (VOJ) said that acting on a source report that Praveen Pandoh Executive Engineer had amassed huge moveable/immoveable property disproportionate to his known sources of income during his services, after preliminary verification, the Vigilance Organization registered a case under section 5(1) (e) r/w Sec 5(2) P.C Act Samvat. 2006 at police station VOJ against the accused officer.
"During the course of investigation, searches were conducted at the residential house of the accused Parveen Pandoh, Executive Engineer SIDCO, Jammu by a team of Vigilance officers and it was found that the accused, by abuse of his official position and by corrupt means had amassed huge immoveable and moveable properties", said sources.
Spokesman further said that during the course of house search, various incriminating documents pertaining to landed property, bank records, pass books/cheques of different banks, gold and cash etc. were recovered and seized.
After scrutinizing the records and fulfilling all the legal formalities including obtaining the requisite sanction from the Govt. for launching prosecution the charge sheet (Challan) has been produced by the Vigilance Organization, Jammu against the accused XEn before the court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Jammu for legal determination.
