NHM employees to hold protest on Oct 25
10/22/2018 9:37:00 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 22: NHM Employees Association, Jammu Division is going to hold a protest demonstration at Press Club Jammu on October 25 as a reminder to state government of the pending primary demand of regularization and continuous neglect of the government towards genuine demands of NHM Employees.
Announcing the decision of holding a protest on October 25 while addressing a press conference here today, the president of the association Rohit Seth said that the NHM Employees have been agitating since many years for the rightful and genuine demand of regularization but successive state governments have ignored it despite making repeated assurances.
Seth said that there has been literally no movement or even sense of sincerity shown by the government till date in initiating the process of regularization, not even what some states like Haryana have done. The state of Haryana has already framed service rules with pay scales being defined for various categories of NHM employees across levels. Even this much has not been done by our government till date.
Appreciation in the salaries across varies categories of employees has not been uniform, resulting in broadening of the salary disparity between medicos and management as well as para-medical staff, he added.
