Jammu, Oct 22: Dance Sports Council (DSC) of Jammu and Kashmir along with Harman Dance Institute, Upper Gadi Garh, Jammu conducted audition for the upcoming event of State Dance Championship-2018 to be held in the month of November in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. The audition was conducted by a team of efficient dance teachers like Ikjot Singh Parwanda, district coordinator, DSC of J&K, under the able guidance of Gurvinder Kour, State secretary of DSC of Jammu and Kashmir. A total of 50 students of various age groups of various schools and areas participated in the audition out of which about 20 students were selected on the basis of their talent and they will now compete in the state championship. Further audition is going to be conducted in other districts of Jammu and Kashmir in the coming days. Next audition in this context will be held in district Rajouri shortly and in Samba district on October 28. |
