Trekking Expedition flagged in

Rajouri, Oct 22: The Trekking Expedition organised by Rajouri Development Authority with an aim to promote adventure tourism was flagged in today at Budh Khanari tourist site of Darhal tehsil in Rajouri.
The said three days expedition was comprised of 30 trekkers and funded by Director Tourism Jammu while DDC Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Assad personally supervised over it.
These trekkers headed by AEE Rajouri Development Authority, Zahid Malik were flagged off for expedition by CEO RDA, Dr. Tahir Firdous on 20th of October from Budh Khanari and the trekkers passed through a number of sites at the higher reaches of Pir Panjal mountains including Richwali, Thumbal, Bahrwali and Lambi Behak and than reached at Shaker Marg which is located at a height of 11000-12000 from sea level.
Trekkers also visited a number of sites located close to Shaker Marg which include Saitimarg, Chaisari, Janjwali.
Meanwhile, the expedition was flagged in today at Budh Khanari by a team of Administration headed by CEO Rajouri Development Authority, Tahir Firdous on the directions of DDC Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Assad.
CEO RDA, Tahir Firdous informed that the expedition was organised with an aim of adventure tourism and to explore hidden tourist sites of higher ranges with aim to bring the same on tourist map. He also said that health department made adequate arrangements of health facilities for trekking Expedition and more such expedition will be organised in near future.
