PK lambasts Omar Abdullah for raising redundant autonomy Issue
10/25/2018 9:01:36 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 25: Pannun Kashmir ridiculed former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for raking up a redundant issue of autonomy of State. In a meeting held in Jammu, the President Vijay Bhat denounced the statement of Omar Abdullah and charged him of its double standard. He reiterated that NC leaders have always spoken different languages at different times. When they are in power, they speak one language and when they are out of power, the content and the tone gets changed. The convener of the party Ravinder Jalali In a sharp attack on Omar Abdullah, reminded Abdullah that much of milking has been done to the holy autonomy cow and it has dried up now and cannot be milked forever. "Whenever NC is out of power, the father duo rakes up only dead issues which have become irrelevant with the passage of time," Ravinder Jalali added. He further said that had the Abdullahs been serious on the autonomy issue right from beginning, it would have matured but since the Abdullahs are out of power that is why these issues which have become dead with the passage of time, becomes relevant . I would like to remind Omar Abdullah that why his grandfather accepted the chief minister ship in 1975 after Sheikh -Indira accord after remaining out of power from 1953 to 1975? It means that all these years have gone waste. More ever when he or his father Farooq Abdullah was in Central Govt., why they did not raise this issue but since they know for sure that these are no issues but do matter by making it an emotional issue to the people of Kashmir, otherwise everybody knows, what is left in autonomy.
