| Defunct transformer leaves several households without power supply | | |

MENDHAR, Oct 25: The Paloon area of village Noral of Mendhar Sub Division is without power for one month as the transformer has gone kaput.
People of the area have been facing lot of difficulties due to no power supply, while studies of school going students have also badly impacted.
The local resident Rashid Ahmed Khan said that PDD officers have not given proper attention to their problem and they are being forced to agitate and block the roads and others. They appealed to the Chief Engineer PDD Poonch to issue suitable instructions to the concerned officers at Mendhar to immediately replace the burnt transformer and provide light to the consumers. |
