Two drivers booked, several vehicles seized

Rajouri, Oct 26: Rajouri police has booked two more drivers for indulging in over-loading and seized a number of other vehicles.
Police spokesman said that SHO Kandi-Manzoor Kohli raised a traffic check point near Kandi and intercepted a tempo bearing registration JK11A-2815 driven by Mohd Razaq resident of Jaglanoo and tempo bearing registration JK11A-9351 driven by Mani Ram resident of Budhal and both vehicles were found overloaded.
On this, cases under FIR nos. 150/2018 and 151/2018 under sections 336 of RPC and 66/192 MV Act have been registered at Police Station Kandi.
Spokesman further said that another team headed by Incharge police post Chatyar Chingus-SI Sanjay Raina fined drivers of nineteen vehicles and seized three two-wheelers.
Nowshera police station team also seized three vehicles and fined drivers of three others whereas team of Rajouri police station headed by SHO Ajaz Haider seized eight vehicles which were found plying without requisite documents while drivers of 32 others were fined.
