| Pensioners, SMVD Hospital organise Health Awareness lecture | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 26: The Central Govt Pensioners Welfare Association, Jammu in collaboration with SMVD Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, Kakryal and State Pensioners Association has taken up a programme for Health Awareness Lectures on common diseases confronting senior citizens.
First in the series of Awareness Lectures will be on problems of hearing in old age and related ENT diseases that has been organised tomorrow at the meeting hall of the Scouts and Guides building near General Post Office, Apsra Road Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. This about 90-minute Lecture cum Interaction will be delivered by the Narayana Hospital's ENT Head of Deptt. Dr. Rohan Gupta. The SMVD Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, Kakryal has recently been empanelled for cashless treatment of CGHS pensioners having CGHS beneficiary cards which will benefit more than 2000 Central Govt pensioners in the State. The Presidents of both Pensioners Associations have appealed to their members to avail this facility for prevention as well as treatment of such disorders. Other senior citizens are also welcome in this event. |
