Jammu, Oct 26: 7th Eid Diwali Milan Cricket Cup for students & Youths shall be started from 10th of Nov. at Parade Ground Jammu which will be organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu in collaboration with Simula Sports Club, KC Sports Club and Vishal Cricket Club wherein the teams from colleges, other districts, Kashmir province and other states shall be invited for the participation in the said event.
The slogan of the tournament is "lets' celebrate the duo festival together through T20 Sports". And the main objective of the event is to promote communal harmony among the masses, to engage youths and students in sports so that they may not derail from the main stream and to provide a professional platform to them to show case their hidden skills, informed by Rajesh Gill Chief Prosecuting Officer & Organizing Secretary of the event.
The tournament shall be organized under the Chairmanship of Dr. SD Singh Jamwal IGP Jammu and the organizing committee members includes Vivek Gupta SSP Jammu, Rajesh Sharma SO to IGP Jammu, RK Bhat SSP, Ramesh Kotwal SP Headquarters Jammu, Hilal Rather MD Simula Sports, Ranjeet Kalra, Arjun Choudhary Managing Partner KC Sports club, Rajesh Dhar, Sudhir Singh, Ashish Singh Capt. Horizon Kings, Sanjeev Mahajan, Vijay Saberwal, Saleem ur Rehman, Sadiq Hussain and Rajesh Gill.
The cricket tournament on major festivals is an annual feature of the Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu and are organized under the direct supervision of IGP Jammu. The tournament shall be played on league basis with 20 overs game and white ball will be used. The Colour T-shirts shall be provided to the participating teams. |
