'CADET' under EK Bharat Shrestha Bharat underway

JAMMU, Oct 26: A two days long The 'CADET' (Comprehensive All-round Development and Enrichment Training) program has been planned for around 400 cadets both boys and girls who have been part of EK Bharat Shrestha Bharat Camp being held at NCC Camping Ground, Nagrota from 20 Oct to 31 Oct 2018.
This training is delivered by EXPA members. EXPA is an acronym for Exchange Participants Association. NCC conducts Youth Exchange Programs (YEP) to various countries and all the training members are those who have been ambassadors to different countries like UK, Russia, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Srilanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh and many more. The 'CADET' program is a personality development program that focuses on developing a high degree of communication, Creativity and Critical Thinking among NCC cadets. Interactive sessions, Role-play, public speaking and team tasks were undertaken by cadets on the first day of training. 100 cadets of Gujarat Directorate have been part of EBSB Camp. Deputy Directorate General, NCC Directorate Gujarat also visited the camp witnessed camp training activities and interacted with cadets. Group Commander NCC Group HQ, Jammu and Vice Principal Sainik School, Nagrota was also present. In the morning session Kabbadi match was held between J&K and Gujarat Directorate wherein NCC girls of J&K directorate won the match. Cultural program was held during evening session where cadets displayed their talents and presented variety programmes.
