Jammu, Nov 2: Diwali the festival of lights loaded with lots of sweets and mesmerizing fireworks is undoubtedly India's one of the most loved festivals, DPS Nagbani celebrated Diwali with a difference this year.
A special assembly was conducted by the students of DPS Nagbani. The assembly was initiated with a beautiful quote on Diwali. The students presented an information talk on Diwali depicting it as a festival of removing darkness of ignorance from our minds. The enthusiasm and zeal with which the students participated in the celebration could be seen in the activities that followed.
The students of all the four houses indulged in Rangoli making, creating colorful patterns and decorated them with handmade diyas, candles and flowers. The idea behind celebrating Eco Friendly Diwali was to train these students to have love and care for their environment and help reduce the pollution level in order to keep the planet earth clean.
