Rich Harvest sharp shooters qualify for national championship

JAMMU, Nov 2: The 5 sharp shooters from Rich Harvest brought glory to their school and club by qualifying for the upcoming Nationals.
Five shooters of Rich Harvest School Bari Brahmana and Zorawar Singh Rifle Club had participated in 38 North Zone shooting competition held at Dehradun from 24th Oct to 1st Nov. The Competition was conducted under the banner of NRAI and USRA. Numerous participants from 7 states of North India took part in the prestigious championship.
Aneesha Sharma and Keshav Dogra participated in the ISSF category. Aneesha scored 574 points and stood 9th in youth women's category. Keshav on the other hand scored 562 points and stood 19th in youth men's category. Adhiraj Singh Charak, Sainath Jogdand and Aditya Pratap also qualified in the Rifle youth men's category. Vivaan Sharma qualified in pistol category. He was the only one from J & K to qualify in pistol youth men category. All the five selected shooters had trained rigorously under the acumen ship of their coach Vishal Mehra.The Principal Anita Bhatia honoured the shooters in the morning assembly.
The Director of the school Ruchi Charak felicitated the team of shooters.
