IIT Professor delivers lectures at SMVDU

JAMMU, Nov 2: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, School of Physics organized three-day special lecture series program concluded. Prof. Prabhakar Singh, Department of Physics, IIT-BHU, Varanasi and Adjunct Professor delivered Special lectures.
These series of lectures was the part of extension programs, regularly conducted by various schools at SMVDU through which they impart quality education to research scholars and students. Prof. Ashok K. Sharma, Head, School of Physics welcomed Prof. Singh and informed that the esteemed professor had more than 20 years of experience as well as many national and international awards to his credit. He delivered highly informative lectures on topics related to measurements and control systems, transducers, boxcar integrators and high frequency devices: generators and detectors.
Dr. Vivek K. Singh, Coordinator of the event said that the research scholars and students of the department not only update knowledge and keep abreast with the latest information in the field of Physics. He further thanked Dr. Sanjeev Jain, Vice-Chancellor, SMVD University for establishing a collaborative teaching-learning environment through extension lectures which motivate students and provide them with ideas for future research.
