NIA probing hawala cases conducts raids

Kishtwar, Nov 3: The National Investigating Agency (NIA) probing various Hawala related cases today conducted the raids in various parts of Dachhan and its adjoining areas and arrested one person in connection with five year old case of transaction of Hawala money through his account for Hizb longest surviving militant commander operating in Dachhan area.
As per the details available with "Early Times", the NIA team arrived in Kishtwar District in connection with the probe into five year old Hawala case in which the Hizb Militant commander Jahinger Saroori deposited Rs. One lakh hawala money into his account. The accused according to sources is running a government ration store in Dachhan area. The sources said that Kishtwar police on the bases of the input from the local CID (CI) freeze the account soon after HM helper deposited the money into the account-however the accuse mange to get himself out of the trouble by using his political influence at that time to get himself out of the controversy. The sources said that more arrest are likely in coming days in connection with the Hawala racket working in Kishtwar District.
Senior police officers in Kishtwar refuse to comment on the arrival of NIA and arrest made by them in Kishtwar District.
