11/3/2018 11:34:03 PM

Early Times Report
jammu, Nov 3: Decision of former forest minister Chowdhary Lal Singh to field his candidates for on-going Panchayat elections is a warning signal for BJP because Singh has potential to spoil-sport the Saffron Party in coming Lok Sabha elections in Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat.
After floating 'nonpolitical' outfit, Chowdhary Lal Singh today gave political shape to its social organisation.
In a function held today at Jammu, Lal Singh announced to contest Panchayat elections are being held on a non-party basis.
Lal Singh had formed non-political organization namely Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan on July 22 this year with a promise to protect dignity and honour' of the Dogras.
Lal Singh also organisational structure of the Sangathan and appointed office bearers to make it a vibrant force in Jammu region.
Credible sources said that decision of the Lal Singh to field his candidates for Panchayat elections would be proved counter productive for arrogant BJP leaders who are thinking that they would win election again on Modi wave without working for the people.
Lal Singh, who was forced to resign from the Council of Ministers in the erstwhile coalition PDP-BJP government on April 13 for supporting CBI probe into the Rassana murder and alleged rape case, had maintained a distance from ULB elections.
