| Ajeet Parihar was shot dead 'while trying to save his brother' | | | Asif Iqbal Naik

Kishtwar, Nov 3: Samaar Parihar has narrated an account of the murder of his uncle, the BJP leader Anil Parihar, and father Ajeet Parihar by gunmen in Kishtwar two days ago.
Speaking to Early Times, Samaar Parihar said he came to know about the incident from their domestic helper who was carrying the bag of his uncle and was walking behind them when they were shot dead in Tapal Market.
He said all family members were waiting for them when suddenly the domestic helper reached the home in a state of shock narrating the incident to them.
Samaar said that after the domestic helper informed them about the incident, he, his brothers, his cousins, his mother and other family members rushed to the spot, where they saw his father Ajeet was still breathing while his uncle lay dead.
He said the people present at the spot hadn't shifted them to hospital and it was only after they arrived that some neighbours helped them to shift the duo to hospital where both of them were declared 'brought dead'.
Samaar said his father and uncle had been fired in the head and that his father died while saving his brother from the assailants. As per him, the domestic helper told them that while returning the home, his uncle asked the PSOs to go home as he was walking with his brother. He said that while reaching near Tapal Galli, two masked men asked them to halt and one of the fired at his uncle Anil Parihar while his father got killed while saving his brother from the assailants.
Samaar demanded immediate arrest of the killers. |
