KNIT group of schools celebrates Annual Day 12/8/2018 8:27:03 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 8: KNIT group of schools, Jammu celebrated Annual Function in the premises of KNIT Green Model Academy, Gajesingh Pura, Sangrampur, Jammu. Prof. Veena Pandita, Chairman JK Board of School Education graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. ByThe function started with lighting of ceremonial lamp by dignitaries. ML Bhat welcomed the gathering. Komal Kotwal Principal Green Model Academy presented the annual report. Cultural program presented by the students including Ganesh Vandana, Dance on Dharti Sunehri, Kashmiri Dance, Ladakhi dance, Rajasthani Dance, Vande Matrem, Kud Dance was a colourful Guldasta of Indian culture and heritage. Skit on the life of Aanandi Bai Joshi noy only won the standing ovation by one and bit also saw many eyes are in tears. Riya in the role of Anandi and Sudanshu Manhas in the role of Anandi's husband won heart of the August gathering.. Madian issue of the school magazine 'Vision' was released by the Chief Guest. The students who had brought laurels to the schools in Academics & other co-curricular activities were felicitated on the occasion. Chairman KNIT Prof J L Kotwal while congratulating every one expected the Chairman BOSE Prof Veena Pandita to do justice to all regions of the State. Prof Pandita in her speech recalled her memories with Prof Kotwal, when she had a chance to work under his guidance & supervision. She hoped & expected that KNIT will remain to its name. She declared that the future of the students was safe and secure in KNIT under Prof Kotwal. She advised the parents & teachers to spend time with their kids and students. Mementoes were presented to the Chief Guest.
