| Jodhamal Public School wins the school quiz league | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 8: Jodhamal Public School won one of the biggest Pan India quiz competition 'School Quiz League - Pratibha Ki Khoj, which was conducted in different schools of Jammu.
After the School round which was held in November the Regional Finals of The School Quiz League season 6 was held at Ramada Hotel, Jammu on December 5th. 200 Teams from almost all schools of Jammu participated in the Senior and the same number of team in the Junior category in the thrilling rounds of quizzing session which comprised of question from various domains such as current affairs, science and technology , computers and others. It was Jodhamal School all over, be it the participants or the audience.
Harmonjot Singh and Shreyas Andotra of Class 6 from Jodhamal School bagged the first position and moved to the national finals which will be held in New Delhi in January 2019.
The runners up position was also clinched by Jodhamal School in which Aditya and Rifaqat Ghani of class 8th got the better of the rest of the teams. In the senior category the team of Anmol Gupta and Puneet Singh of Class 11th Scored the runners up position after giving a tough fight till the last question.
Harmanjot singh was adjudged the best quizzer and was awarded with the 'quizzer of the day' award .
Principal of the School Trilok Singh Bist congratulated the teams and appreciated the efforts put in by the mentor Sanjay Pandey in preparing the quizzers. |
