May Fair Schools host Avantika Atal Samman 2018

JAMMU, Dec 9: May Fair Schools Chand Nagar, Chinore, and Janipur, hosted Avantika Atal Samman 2018 and Inter School Folk Dance Completion at May Fair International School, Laxmipuram Chinore, Bantalab in collaboration with Avantika, a group of Contemporary artists and intellectuals a New Delhi based N.G.O.
Gulchain Singh Charak (Ex Minister ) and President- Dogra Sadar Sabha, J&K graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, Suhail Kazmi Chief Editor - Taskeen, Gourav Gupta Secretary- Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bharat Bhushan Gupta Director-Citizen Cooperative Bank Pvt. Ltd. and Sh. Ram Khajuria President, Tawi Trekkers were the Special Guests.
Dr. Anand Aggarwal National Director Avantika , New Delhi was the Presiding Guest while Vijay Basur Chairperson - May Fair Schools, Anita Basur , Secretary - May Fair Schools , Sandeep Sharma, Radhika Basur and Abhey Basur Management Committee Members- May Fair Schools , H.S Jamwal Commissioner -Avantika and M.L Abrol President- Anatika were also present on the occasion.
Around 30+ students from various reputed schools of Jammu province participated in this Competion. The function began with lighting of the traditional lamp followed by Beautiful Welcome Song by students of May fair International School. Participants from different schools exhibited their Talent during the Folk Dance Competion which enthralled the audience.
In Inter School Folk Dance competition, from Senior and Junior Category 1st position was scored by Tannu Baloria, Vanshika, Vishal and Mehak sharma School while 2nd Position was scored by Lakshmi, Aishwarya, Tavishi, Nakul, Manasvani, Karanpreet, Reena and Ayushman, and 3rd Position was scored by Mehak Ruba, Antra, Akriti, Bhumi, Vivek and Rekha Kumari frim the Participant Schools.
Principals of May Fair Schools, Cynosural International Elementary School, Dogra Higher Secondary School, Viraj Bal Bhawan , Nav Yug Hr. Sec. School, Krishna Public School , New Leadership Foundation School , Neel Kamal High School, Sri Sai Public School, Parmount Convent School , Nav Vidyalya and many other Schools were honoured with Avantika Atal Samman 2018, Atal Bihari Avantika National Award 2018 and Winner Students of Folk Dance Competion were honoured by the Distinguished Guests. Last of all Vijay Basur Chairperson - May Fair Schools thanked the Guests for attending the occasion.
