Singh Club, Lakshmi Club enters in quarter finals

JAMMU, Dec 11: Singh Club Akhnoor and Lakshmi Club registered their second win against the opponent teams and entered in quarter final stage in the 6th Christmas T20 Cricket Championship being played at Parade Ground Jammu under the banner of Christian Sports Organization Jammu, Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu, Christian Fellowship Trust Jammu and supported by Diocese of Jammu. The objective of the championship is to involve the youths in sports so that they may not involve in drugs and the slogan is "Be Healthy- Don't Do Drugs"
Batting first KC Sports Club scored 118 runs for the loss of all wickets in 16.3 overs. Gourav 31 runs, Nawaz 25 and Shubam Gupta 17 runs were the main scorers. From the bowling side Happy , Sham and Chetan took 2 wickets each while Rohit took 1 wicket each. In reply chased the target in 15.4 overs by losing 3 wickets thus won the match by 7 wickets. Rahul 63 runs, Sumit 23 and Vishal 21 were the main scorers . From bowling side Himanshu took 3 wickets. Rahul was declared as man of the match.
In second match Lakshmi Club defeated WCC Kashmir by.
Batting first WCC Kashmir scored 112 runs for the loss of all wickets in 17.5 overs. Rohan Koul 30 runs, Rohit 27 runs and Vikas Raina 19 runs were the main scorers. From the bowling side Amandeep Singh took 4 wickets, Yogesh took 3 wickets while Kulvinder and Santbaksh took 1 wicket each . In reply Lakshmi Club chased the target in 17.4 overs by losing 7 wickets thus lost the match by 3 wickets. Dhruv 20 runs, Vinayak 17 runs and Yogesh 15 runs were the main scorers. From bowling side Sahil took 2 wickets, while Chander, Rohan and Yawar took 1 wicket each. Amandeep Singh was adjudged as man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Ashok, Sanju and Vijay .
