Kalakote, Dec 12: Ashok Sharma former legislator and Coordinator AICC Vichar Vibhag said Good governance is basic need of the people of J&K while addressing the party workers at Kalakote during Congress Victory celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that unless the misuse and leakage of public funds is controlled and corruption is eradicate, the poor and needy can neither get justice nor improve quality of life. He urged upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir to strengthen the hands of Congress President Rahul Gandhi to bring peace, prosperity, progress and development era in the state.
He further added that the failure of collision dharma between Congress-NC, Congress-PDP, PDP-BJP have not only caused mistrust among the people but also created uncertainty, lack of development, rise of leakage of public money and hatred and disintegration among the people, regions, sub-regions and sections. Therefore, it is of imperative necessity that there should be single party rule in the state to achieve the goal of good governance. |
