JAMMU, Dec 12: Alexander Memorial Higher Secondary School, Jammu hosted an Inter-School "Skit Competition on India's 'Freedom Struggle 1857-1947' under the aegis of Youth Talent Search (a forum of schools of Jammu) in the open air auditorium of the school.
Esther William, Principal of the host school, received the 'Chief Guest' Rajesh Gupta, former MLA, Jammu East, other distinguished Guests, learned Judges, the participants and their escort teachers. The following schools participated in this competition included New Era Environmental School, Circular Road, Jammu, Bikram Memorial School, Bishnah, S.D. Tarapuri Public School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi, Lawrence Public School, Sidhra, JK Montessori School, Tirath Nagar, Jammu, Bhagwati Haqiqat Memorial Public High School, Barnai and Humanity Public School, Bari Brahmana.
The Adjudicators for the competition were Mushtaq Kak, Director and Sandeep Verma, Actor/Director. The audience highly appreciated the performance of the participants and gave them a big hand after each item as a mark of approbation and elixir. |
