| Farooq promises for autonomous resolution | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 20: National Conference President and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Dr Farooq Abdullah on Thursday, if national conference comes into the power they will pass a resolution for regional autonomy for Jammu and Kashmir within 30 days.
Addressing media and party workers at Sher e Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu, Dr Abdullah said, "If Allah bless us with a majority in the Jammu and Kashmir state, within 30 days I promise we will pass a regional autonomy".
Expelled by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the former MLA from R S Pura Gagan Bhagat joined the National conference party in presence of NC President Dr Farooq Abdullah and senior leader Davinder Singh Raina. Dr Abdullah welcomed Gagan Bhagat and said that he will carry the autonomy ideology in R S Pura area.
Gagan Bhagat said that we have to fight together to bring the state out of the trouble. And we had a mandate till yesterday now what have we left is the President rule.
Senior leader Davinder Singh Raina said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir knows that if there is any party that can put Jammu and Kashmir out of the trouble that is only National Conference. And in the upcoming election we will come out with flying color and will make government without support of any other political party. |
