RAJOURI, Dec 20: Seven persons have been taken into preventive custody by Rajouri police for indulging in unlawful activities. Police spokesman said that six persons have been detained in police station Rajouri and they included Ajay Kumar resident of Thandikassi, Lala resident of Salani bridge, Javed Bhat resident of ward no 8 Rajouri, Tahir Shah resident of Dhani Dhar, Haroon Rashid resident of near children park Rajouri, Mohammad Asif resident of Kheora Rajouri. Spokesman further said that they have been detained under preventive measure under section 107/151/110 of CrPC and produced before Executive Magistrate Ist class and have been lodged in district jail Rajouri. "Order was implemented by SHO Rajouri Ajaz Haider under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Govind Rattan", said spokesman. Meanwhile, Rajouri police also detained a notorious trouble maker and took him into preventive custody.
The said trouble maker is habitual alcoholic and a trouble creator in the family and area. He has been identified as namely Mohammad Riaz son resident of ward no 2 Nowshera. Accused has been booked under sections 107/1051/110 CrPC and sent in judicial custody in District Jail Dhangri, said spokesman. |
