| FPS dealers face hurdles to upload Aadhar details | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Jan 3: Many dealers of FCS&CA department running fair price shops (FPSs) in Rajouri district facing difficulties in submitting the details of Aadhar Cards of those beneficiaries who have yet not been issued the Aadhar cards.
The department of civil supplies & consumer affairs (FCS&CA) has issued directions to its ration dealers to submit the details of the Aadhar cards of ration card holders to whom they are supplying ration, which is mandatory to complete the Aadhar seeding process.
The assistant director FCS&CA Rajouri has warned to terminate the licenses of fair price shop (s) (FPS) dealers for not submitting the Aadhar details of the ration card holders.
He has directed all the ration dealers to submit the details of Aadhar cards of ration card holders in the offices of concerned tehsil supply officers on or before January 5. "Those dealers who will fail to submit the requisite information within stipulated time frame shall be terminated and ration cards of non-performing dealers shall be shifted to those who are performing satisfactorily as per instructions already conveyed.
He has also directed all the Tehsil Supply Officers (TSOs) to prepare the lists defaulter dealers but the dealers have been complaining that they have been facing hurdles to upload the details. |
