AFCONS management fails to provide employment to local unemployed

Kishtwar, Jan 3: Youths of District Kishtwar have criticized the management of AFCONS Company for not providing employment to local unemployed youths in Pakal Dul hydroelectric project. Joginder Bhandari a senior youth leader while addressing youths meeting has said that the AFCONS management is deliberately ignoring the unemployed youths of District Kishtwar and providing opportunity of employment to non locals which has caused a brewing resentment among the unemployed.
He said that the Deputy commissioner Kishtwar is dedicating the AFCONS management is a result of which local unemployed youths are denied employment and those unemployed who have qualified the ground level practical test in various trades held by the management of AFCONS in the recent past, are not given joining by the company.
Bhandari has stressed upon the management of AFCONS company to provide First priority of employment in Pakal Dul hydroelectric project to local unemployed youths of District Kishtwar and do not obey the directions of Deputy commissioner while making appointments in the project. Those attended the meeting includes Rinku Tandulkar, Mohd Ashraf Gannie, Gh. Hussain Gainie, Sardar Satpal Singh, Ranjeet Sharma, Shanker Singh Wazir, Rajinder Singh Shan, Sanjay Bhagat, Akhter Hussain Sheikh, Farooq Lone, Tariq Patri, Ajay Sharma, Jaffar Butt, Masood Ali, Surjeet Singh Badyal and others.
