Pradesh Youth Congress Legal Cell holds meeting

JAMMU, Jan 3: The very first executive meeting of legal cell of Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) was held here today at J&K High Court.
The meeting was chaired by its recently appointed Incharge State Legal Cell, PYC, Advocate Kamal Mangotra, who is also the state secretary, PYC. The venue of meeting was totally jam packed as the meeting was attended by several eminent and enthusiastic young lawyers.
Addressing the lawyers, Mangotra said that the lawyers are the torch bearers of a decent society and to take the society to an escalation of progress and prosperity, the legal cell of PYC,J&K has decided to organize legal aid camps for poor and underprivileged people and also will constitute district and state level legal committees. In addition to this, the legal cell will conduct seminars and debates for newly enrolled lawyers which will sharpen their advocacy skills and make them learn professional ethics and conduct. Taking a jibe at present regime, Mangotra said that the present regime failed to deliver anything fruitful for legal fraternity.
Mangotra said that legal cell of PYC under his leadership is committed for upliftment of legal fraternity and will leave none of the stone unturned to address the problems of legal fraternity to his best.
Speaking on the occasion, Advocate Anuj Malhotra, ex-NSUI senior leader said that today's date will be a landmark day in the history.
