Jammu, Jan 3: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (JK) unit today held press conference here today under the leadership of ABVP State Secretary and Central Working Committee member Deepak Gupta.
They informed that workers from across the country attended the national convention organized on December 27-30, on the Sabarmati Riverfront of Karnavati (Ahmedabad). Three resolutions were passed and two oaths were taken in this session. These three resolutions were passed unanimously in the session. Resolution 1:- Challenges before India towards rising all-round development. Resolution 2:- Demand for improvement in undergraduate education. Resolution 3:- Supreme Court on the issues of public faith. Another proposal was passed by the National Executive Council, which was held prior to National Conference on 26/12/2018 "The need to remove Maoist interference from
the education sector" was passed unanimously. In addition, two oaths were also read before the students in the National Conference, which included 'Women's respect for our self-respect' and 'vote for a golden future'.
The convention was also held for the provinces in which the team of all the provinces were announced. A total of 4000 workers were given responsibility from all over the country in the province conferences held at the National Convention of ABVP.
